Fusion strives to be, quite simply, the best
part-time children's theatre school in Britain.

Founded by Ben Douglas, it draws on unrivalled contacts in the performing arts world to provide a training which is second to none. Ben trained at Arts Educational and the Ballet Rambert and his career has spanned stage, tv and film.  The school, based at the Assembly Rooms in Surbiton, opened in September 2004 and has since gone from strength to strength, attracting pupils from as far away as Hertfordshire, Worcestershire and even Yorkshire.

Fusion is committed to providing the very best training, which is why it always seeks to recruit the very best teachers, and has provided masterclasses led by its many famous patrons.

The school also self-funds a system of bursaries and scholarships to reach out to children whose families may not ordinarily be able to afford it. Demand has continued to grow and plans are afoot to expand in a number of exciting areas.

As Ben says: "I have taught at a wide range of theatre schools and was often shocked by the lack of training available to children under one roof. My dream was to offer all children - regardless of their background - the very best training around. And I'm proud to say that is what we do at Fusion."
